Professor Ladele is a hybrid product of the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and University of Ibadan itself. He was first a member of the academic staff of University of Ilorin before he subsequently returned home to the department at Ibadan following his visit to the famous University of Ghana on sabbatical leave.
